Pressure reducing Valve ( Regulator) :-
Pressure regulator is a valve that automatically cuts off the flow of a liquid or gas at a certain pressure. Regulators are used to allow high-pressure fluid supply lines or tanks to be reduced to safe and/or usable pressures for various applications. Gas pressure regulators are used to regulate gas pressure and are not used for measuring flow rates. All propane and LP Gas applications require the use of a regulator Because pressures in Gas storage tanks & Cylinders can fluctuate significantly, regulators must be present to deliver a steady flow pressure to downstream appliances. These regulators normally compensate for pressures between 30 - 200 PSI and commonly deliver desired pressure for industrial, commercial & domestic applications. Propane regulators differ in size and shape, delivery pressure and adjustability, but are uniform in their purpose to deliver a constant outlet pressure for downstream requirements. As is the case in all regulators, outlet pressure is lower than inlet pressure.
